Bob has worked for many years as a boxing trainer, his
most recent success story being Crawford Ashley. But
during the 'Fifties and 'Sixties he was a boxing legend
in his own llifetime, not as a fighter but as a sparring
partner. In fact Bob Paget sparred with everybody, from
Terry Spinks and Sammy McCarthy to Terry Downes, Dave
Charnley and Henry Cooper. Most recently he has worked
as activities organiser and fundraiser for the Freddie
Mills club and Angels with Dirty Faces charity events.
